Overview
Denise is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group. Her practice focuses on corporate organization and secretaryship, corporate restructuring, immigration, intellectual property, real property transactions, and foreign investment. She represents clients across a range of industries including real estate and holding activities, insurance, manufacturing, retail and distribution of various products and services (including food and beverage, motor vehicles and parts, logistics and transportation), and various business in the health and wellness sectors. She regularly assists clients in ensuring compliance with registrations and reportorial requirements with the relevant governmental agencies such as the SEC, BIR, DOLE, IPOPHL, and local governments, including assistance for audits and/or review. She also regularly assists and advises in the registration, maintenance, and renewal of various accreditations and permits such as work permits for foreign nationals and trademarks.
Representative Work
- Handled the immigration requirements and concerns of a joint venture corporation of two of the largest real estate developers in the Philippines and Japan, including securing the necessary Employee Visas, Identity Cards and Work Permits
- Assisted in the acquisition of shares in liquified petroleum gas companies operating nationwide in the Philippines with a transaction value of at least PhP650 Million
