Overview
Reg’s practice encompasses civil, administrative, and criminal litigation, as well as labor and employment law and immigration matters. She has practical experience in drafting labor dispute pleadings, including complaints and position papers, preparing disciplinary notices, representing clients in mediation-conciliation proceedings, securing 9G visas and Alien Employment Permits (AEPs) for foreign nationals, managing visa downgrades, and conducting comprehensive contract and service agreement reviews. Her expertise also extends to handling estate settlements, nullity of marriage cases, and forcible entry actions.
She regularly provides counsel to clients on labor and employee relations, including workplace policies, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolution. She is also involved in ensuring compliance with immigration requirements, such as 9G visas, AEPs, and visa downgrades. Additionally, she conducts thorough reviews of contracts and settlement and compromise agreements.
Representative Work
- Managed the immigration requirements and related matters for a joint venture of Japan’s second-largest real estate developers. This included securing necessary Employee Visas, Identity Cards, and Work Permits
- Successfully facilitated the downgrading of an employee visa, along with the cancellation of the identity card and work permit, for a prominent construction modeling, detailing, and digital engineering firm
- Secured a favorable ruling in a labor dispute regarding an illegal suspension for a global technology solutions company
- Contributed to securing a favorable decision in a forcible entry case involving a telecommunications distributor in the Philippines, specializing in business communication solutions
- Assisted in obtaining a favorable settlement agreement for a criminal case involving a petroleum industry company specializing in petroleum bulk stations and terminals
