Jose A. Ramos Jr.
Jose A. Ramos Jr. heads the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. His primary practice areas are civil, commercial, and criminal litigation.
Joey has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation practice involving all stages of civil, commercial, criminal, administrative, labor, and tax litigation. He likewise handles intra-corporate disputes, corporate rehabilitation and insolvency proceedings, arbitration, out of court settlements, and compromises.
Joey represents clients before the trial courts, Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals, Supreme Court, Department of Justice, Department of Labor and Employment, National Labor Relations Commission, National Telecommunications Commission, Energy Regulatory Board and other administrative agencies.
His law career started in the Labor and Employment Department of ACCRA Law Offices. Prior to joining the Firm in 2006, Joey was a member of the Litigation, Labor and Immigration Departments of De Borja Medialdea Bello Guevarra & Gerodias (BMBGG).
Joey obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1996. He received his Juris Doctor degree also from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2000. Joey was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2001.
